And the online visitor permit system is now excellent. [/quote] Yeah, the comment above is nonsense. The residential permits don't matter on weekends or evenings. If someone needs to park for awhile during a weekday, you just print out a piece of paper for them to put on their dashboard. Couldn't be more convenient. I think the city has radically underpriced parking (car storage) on public streets, given the expense of maintaining the streets, the bad effects of driving, and the market price of private parking. But that's a different conversation and, at least for now, it's easy and practically free.[/quote]
