We have a vacation home in Canaan Valley, which is a little under three hours from our home in Northern VA. I could realistically see living there for months at a time once our kids are out of school. I don't think I could do the public schools there. Canaan has a very unique climate, and is a great place for climate change refugees. [/quote]

We own a home in Morgantown - moved here for a job opportunity - and are leaving next summer.  However, I will be keeping our home here as a rental because I see a huge influx of climate refugees going to inland, higher latitude cities much more quickly and much sooner than we might expect. I have a second home in WV but I’m realistic.  The state is continuing to bleed residents like no other.  Just look at census data.  So I wouldn’t hold my breath.  [/quote]
