Bradley Cooper George Clooney Ben Affleck & Matt Damon Julia Roberts Laura Linney Stanley Tucci Minni Driver Levi Shrieber the list goes on and on and on
I have met Julia Roberts & Bradley Cooper in the context of a charity that they both support that my family is involved with and they have been nothing but nice & generous. Julia used to be on the Board & Bradley is now; both donate items to the charity's auction & give their time personally to the beneficiaries of the charity. I have never seen them mention their involvement in the press nor are there cameras around or anything (it's not Hollywood based).
Lol, these extremely visible, famous people are nice and generous when they drop in on a charity with which they have minimal involvement and the entire board and everyone involved fawns all over them and thanks them extensively for their (again, minimal) contributions? The bar is so, so low. I don't know about Bradley having no first-hand experience but Julia has a reputation for imperious, lazy, and sometimes cruel behavior on sets. Since about the Notting Hill era, she refuses to work more than absolutely necessary, often barely prepares, and is clearly uninvested. Her riders often specify that only a handful of people are allowed to speak to her on set, and she is never to be brought out of her trailer or called onto set until everyone else is 100% ready to go, so that she can drop in, say her lines on camera, and immediately leave. She has no real desire to act, only to play some charming version of herself. She won't do multiple takes even if a scene partner is unhappy with the prior take (or, god forbid, a director -- she demands deference there and won't sign onto movies unless the director and all producers are ready to kiss the ring and defer to her on all things, including script edits and casting of other roles). Genuine nightmare to work with. She is there to collect a paycheck and I think she only does films at this point to maintain star power/status.
