Can’t speak for everyone, but most pro-life people I know support procedure to protect the life of the mother. Why don’t pro abortion people ever acknowledge that the overwhelming majority of abortions are done for convenience?  Why don’t they care about the lives of unborn women?[/quote]
dp.. abortion is abortion. If you say it should not be used by women who don't want/can't afford a baby, then this is about forced birth and punishment, not about the baby.

I can also tell whenever someone says, "but what about the baby", and then in the next breath they say, "why should I as a taxpayer have to pay for that baby that the mother couldn't afford. She should've kept her legs closed", that it's about punishing the woman for having sex and not really about the baby's life.[/quote]
