If you haven't already checked this site, OP, this is the governing org: http://www.pvswim.org
Here is the team list with USA swimming recognition levels: http://www.pvswim.org/pvs_club.htm Top recognized are: NCAP: Level 4, Gold, FISH: Level 4, Silver, Safe Sport Machine: Level 3, Silver AAC: Level 1, Silver RSMC: Level 1, Silver Capitol Sea Devils: Level 3, Safe sport DCCS Level 3
Level 4 is the highest correct?
PP- This list is not really a good indicator, I would definately add OCCS to the list of good teams, I think that they are out in loundon and PW counties.
I second OCCS, the reason they are so good is that they are really a Virginia league based team that gamed the system with a PO Box in Alexandria. So if you move to Woodbridge, definitely get with them. Honestly if you want the best swimming clubs and can move to Richmond, your swimmer will do better there than with PVS. If you have to be near DC, go to NCAP.
Agree- We are from MD and when I volunteer at meets as a timer, I am always impressed with the head coach from OCCS and NCAP West.
