Asking me why you weren’t invited on a girls’ trip is unlikely to score you an invite to the next one. I would respond more favorably to, “That trip to X looked like a lot of fun. Let me know if another one gets planned—I’d love to join you.”

I’d probably then even tell you why you didn’t make the cut for this last trip: Person Y planned it; we couldn’t have more than 5 in the AIRBNB; it was a spontaneous trip that was not planned far enough in advance to invite others; etc…[/quote]
