Love the desperate attempts to normalize rape. Keep grasping at straws deplorables.
Yet our kids found out that oral sex isnt considered sex thanks to bubba... when youre pointing the finger, remember that 3 are pointing back at you.
My kids don’t know anything about Bill Clinton. Just he was President. It’s more at the feet of Ken Starr and the GOP that everyone heard the scandal. Starr made sure everyone knew about oral sex he discovered during an investigation on a land deal. 🤷♀️
Who could forget the famous Starr Report, with all its soft core erotica? The pious Ken Starr made sure everybody heard about all the sordid details of what was essentially consensual private sexual acts. In fact, I remember at the time that a male relative living overseas asked me to send him a copy of the report for what I suspect were prurient reasons. The godfearing GOP was all smug and delighted about the report, but many Americans felt that Starr had gone too far in humiliating Clinton for private behavior.
At the time it was released, the report was criticized for making accusations about exactly what Clinton did.[9] The report claimed "the details are crucial to an informed evaluation of the testimony, the credibility of witnesses, and the reliability of other evidence. Many of the details reveal highly personal information; many are sexually explicit. This is unfortunate, but it is essential."[9] Because Starr's office allegedly leaked portions to press about sexual details that were mentioned in his report, he was criticized for using the scandal as a political maneuver[10][11] and was charged for violating legal ethics by presenting information irrelevant to an investigation as evidence of legal wrongdoing.[10][11] Also, it is unclear whether Starr had the legal authority to ask Clinton questions about his sexual relationship with Lewinsky, as the OIC was convened solely to investigate Whitewater and Paula Jones' claim that Clinton sexually harassed her. Questioning about a sexual relationship void of assault appears to be both irrelevant under the Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE) as a whole and under Rule 413, which allows questioning about separate allegations of sexual assault (which was never asserted about Lewinsky's relationship with Clinton).[12]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starr_Report IRL, the actions of Starr and the other thugs backfired: the GOP actually lost five seats in the House and gained zero Senate seats in the November 1998 elections conducted just prior to the impeachment vote. In addition,
"Clinton's ratings in public opinion polls were at an all-time high, hovering at close to 70 percent. Most Americans gave Clinton low marks for character and honesty. But, they gave him high marks for performance and wanted him censured and condemned for his conduct, but not impeached and removed. Many viewed key Republican attackers as mean-spirited extremists willing to use a personal scandal for partisan goals. In the end, voters were happy with Clinton's handling of the White House, the economy, and most matters of public life."
