It may have been since brother was so close to the airport it made sense for the parents to save money by parking there and having that son drive them 15 minutes to the airport - it wasn't asking for a big inconvenience (assuming their flight didn't interfere with the son's work hours) at the time.  The return flight however is shaping up to be a different story.  The issue with DH not spending enough time with DD etc. - different issue altogether.[/quote]
