That said maybe the guidance has changed and ambulances are better equipped to handle suspected stroke caaes[/quote] No, you should call 911 and be transported to the appropriate hospital by a highly trained paramedics. Going to a random hospital is not the answer, and going to a non-stroke center will cause an unacceptable delay in care. [/quote]
