It's because comedians and actors are afraid to say anything negative about BO or the dems for fear of being blackballed.  And don't think that pop culture doesn't have an impact on society - probably a LOT more than political talking heads.  Who here actually knows that Sarah Palin never said she could see Russia from her house?  that was a saturday night live skit and now everyone thinks SP is this idiot who thinks she could see Russia from her house. A.  From what exactly does a comedian get "blackballed"?  On what PLANET do comedians fear the repercussions of mocking a president???  Have you not watched the last 35 years of SNL??

B.  Sorry, Sarah Palin was every bit as dumb as the quote.  Tina Fey just made her more concise.  Palin's exact quote was: "They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska."  And as if that wasn't bad enough, she later said "As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border."

God, even the Republicans bailed on this train wreck.  I guess there are a few of you in your bunkers, still working through the stockpile of Kool Aid, unaware that she is long gone.  Anyway, I think the most devastating quotes came from her own ilk, I mean party:
