Not sure what year you are using but Wake has been at 20 percent acceptance rate for classes of 2026 and 2027 (I think 2027 is a bit lower but hasn’t been officially released yet).

In any case, your reading comprehension skills seem off.  No one said the schools are identical.  Only that some students apply to both, which makes sense when one considers that most students apply to a combination of reach, target and likely schools.
