But its defined campus in AU Park has a very different vibe (a much more "traditional cloistered college" vibe) than the GW "campus" that bleeds into the IMF, World Bank, State Department, etc. AU students (like Georgetown students) can ignore DC if they so choose; GW students can't, they're living it. The AU vibe will appeal more to some students and the GW vibe will appeal more to others. There's nothing wrong with either preference.[/quote]
