NP. Really do get over yourself. This comes up all the time, and sorry, but Just No, Boomer. Most DCUM posters have their own money, and in many cases, a lot more money than their parents and ILs. Personally, DH and I pay our share of extended family vacations, but even if someone else is paying, a "free vacation" isn't the prize you think it is. Go into the Search function, type in "beach drama," and you'll see what I mean.

These aren't rich people problems. The wealthy don't bum rides in cramped automobiles or drive 8 hours when they can fly in 2 and rent a car. People who consider these ideas and then actually do them don't have a lot of choices or financial freedom to make better choices. [/quote]

Ridiculous. So many older people have back issues or other needs that they need to sit in the front. They can’t easily climb into the back seat. This is not a thing to drive with a loving family where everyone is uncomfortable. OP is likely trolling with this.[/quote]
