The one guy I knew who dropped out freshman year was so over his head, it was genuinely sad to see. Great athlete though. With few exceptions, the super smart athletes were not the stars. Aren’t elite schools required to balance admission stats in a given cohort? Hence the other back door of “walk ons”?[/quote]
