[/quote] Right. People also make decisions for a lot of reasons. For us, having our kid go to Sidwell or NCS would be highly inconvenient, since we live in Gaithersburg. We didn’t have her apply to any schools in the District for K. If she were dying to go to one of those schools and got in, we’d figure it out, but it would be a lot easier for her to go elsewhere.[/quote]
