This sounds like asking a store to use a bathroom and they say we don’t have public bathrooms. I don’t care if it’s public or not I just need to pee. They’re not required to give you a pencil and the front desk person didn’t have one, so they weren’t going above and beyond to find you one……
Wrong. Its a private place they pay to be a member of. It's not a random public store.
+1 It’s a community center. Ours has coffee and magazines and the olds are encouraged to hang out. It also has a robust camp program so yes, pencils, colored pencils and even markers could be found for a member on request. Same as soap, first aid supplies and probably granola bars!
Does the robust camp cost $150 a month? Camp and gym childcare are two different things.
Except they have all of these things at the ymca.
Yes but if you go in the gym childcare the worker there isn’t allowed to leave to go over to the camp to get a pencil, due to ratios. Yes if I spend hundreds a week for a full day camp I expect age limited groupings and a variety of art materials, although I still wouldn’t have a tantrum if they didn’t happen to have a pencil. But this wasn’t at the camp.
