[/quote] My kid got under 900 on MI at end of 5th grade but there were unique circumstances (MI was his first day back at school after being out for two weeks due to illness) and he did well on SOL and COGAT. But we had to reach out to middle school math coordinator to explain the circumstances. once we did, she immediately said he should try pre-algebra and he did well in the class this year and did well on the MI and SOL at end of 6th grade.[/quote]
