It depends on the type of business trip and business. Tradeshows are notorious for hookups because you have so many people together and usually a lot of drinking/social events into the night.[/quote]

Hm, never thought of that, you may be right. People in my industry don’t tend to drink a lot during business trips, maybe a glass or two of wine with dinner  or at the odd reception but there is not partying or wining and dining clients.[/quote]
