My DH who is not handy at all and completely oblivious to household maintenance did not know that this needed to be done and was shocked when I told him that this was something that I do every few weeks, and had done every few weeks since we bought the washing machine 5 years ago.[/quote] I never did this but tried it upon reading this and I was SHOCKED by the filth that was in there!
