It really doesn't matter which team you play for as long it's Madlax, NL or DCE. Each of these teams produces college players and coaches will come to watch. However, the most important thing is that your kid MUST get on the field. If he is only playing in blowouts, it's time to move to another club. Also, HS matters. It's much easier to get recruited if you go to a school that plays in IAC/WCAC. If you go public, you need to be much more aggressive in reaching out to college coaches your junior year.
This is pretty accurate. Get your kid on the highest level team where he can get the most playing time. It can be difficult to find a spot with the ideal mix. As far as recruiting goes, yeah if your kid has dreams of playing in college I think IAC/WCAC makes it easier, but talent is talent and there's plenty of local public school kids who go D1 and high-end D3 so it's not impossible but as PP said you maybe have to take more initiative in reaching out to and getting in front of coaches. Best bet for your kid as always is just to work hard and get better, if it's meant to be it will happen, if they don't play in college they'll still have a good time and they won't have any regrets around "man, if I had just worked harder I could've done this or that..."
