You don’t understand MLK’s message if you don’t understand that he believed focusing on race is an integral part of the process towards the goal of moving beyond it. So many people take the one quote from I Have a Dream to mean that King was colorblind and it simply isn’t an accurate reflection of his ideology or what he preached.[/quote]
