It doesn't matter if the toddler "trespassed" as in stepped off the sidewalk. A dog that skittish or dangerous needs a real or electric fence, to be leashed or inside etc. You can't have a dog outside just because it's "your property" if it's going to be biting ppl who are passing by. What if it was a delivery person who stepped onto the neighbor's yard?[/quote]
