I enjoyed watching the Duggars and remember most of the episodes. Now looking back it puts a different light to decisions made by the family. I remember thinking it was so odd that the way they built their new house was that the girls bedroom could only be reached by going either through the parents room or right next to it and the boys bedroom was all the way on the other side of the house that couldn't be accessed easily from the girls room. There might have even been a separate staircase. Another episode explained that only the mom and the sisters had access to the password for the internet because the boys and Jim Bob might be tempted. Now knowing what was going on, it was so obvious that the parents knew and were hiding the abuse and then eventually downplaying the abuse. [/quote]
