I know - it's stupid.  The teachers know the scores the day after the tests are taken.  I think it's stupid that test scores are knowable and they keep from the parents.  I think if a test score can be known - it should be given to parent.[/quote]

Just because you want something doesn’t mean you get it. The entitlement is gross. There’s no need for you to have it immediately. You just want to know. Meanwhile, there are kids still testing. There are kids who have to do retakes. There are kids who have to do make-ups.

If you’re this upset over a stupid SOL score, wait until your kid takes the AP exam. You have to wait 2 months. The horror!

You think it is “entitlement” for parents want to timely know how their child did on tests that the school spends all year prepping for/teaching to, when the schools have the scores almost immediately?! The amount it unnecessary testing they do is insane, particularly when it takes months for parents to get the scores, so we can’t even use the information to help our kids. I am glad I opted my 6 th grader out of most of this nonsense this year. [/quote]
