Nonsense. I am making plans so my kids don’t face anti democratic, anti choice, and lack of access to healthcare, and the possibility they can get shot up in public places. Especially when you have daughters the stripping of rights is especially alarming. Crime doesn’t even factor because yes so far we have the dough that we are insulated from it.

Grew up studying the principles of what made America a great democracy and sad to see the cesspool it has become. Other countries have better technology and are safer. People are making back up plans quietly. Another example, another couple I know got French citizenship through descent. [/quote]

We know.  The wealthy can buy homes in gated communities, have high end home security and also have private security to protect themselves when out and about.  They certainly don't have to deal with the issues that they vote to support.  Their children don't go to predominantly non-English speaking schools or schools heavy with free lunch recipients.

You would be hard pressed to find a country that is less racist, fascist, and less concerned about human rights.  That is why all those migrants want to come here.

Well I care about my daughter not dying more in child birth or having an ectopic pregnancy and not being able to remedy it and continue to have equal access to good public education than the boogeyman of immigration.

There are plenty of first world countries where people walk without fear and children don’t have to do active shooter drills. You do you. Since we both agree in different ways the country is slipping you are welcome to it.
