The categorization of those from the Caususus region of the world is largely archaic and no longer used.  Caucasian for racial purposes now catgories those people of primarily European descent down to and including the Mediterranean.

Even if you were to use the old definition, the Caucusus region does not go nearly as far East as The Indian sub-continent:

Any system of racial labeling is necessarily rather arbitrary. South Indians are Dravidian by descent, and there are people who believe the Dravidians are/were a distinctive race of their own. I can tell you this:  the Dravidians I know do not consider themselves “caucasian” or “white.”

“India” also is something of an artificial construct, consisting of a land mass (the subcontinent) that various invaders (most recently the British) have labeled to suit themselves and their objectives. There are 28 states and 8 union territories in the nation of India, the majority of which have their own distinctive language and culture. Indian people are anything but racially heterogenous, and mere reference to an “Encyclopedia Britannia” map drawn by conquistadors does not change that.
