It’s not a special doctor. Her PCP or a weight loss clinic. If she qualifies. My BMI was 31. The only reason I got it was my co-morbidity of high blood pressure along with destroyed knees. Insurance still does not cover it. They won’t unless you are diabetic and even then most likely required you to try cheaper alternatives first like metformin.[/quote]
