If he wants to beat Biden, he needs to relentless focus on how he is going to improve the mess that Biden has left. This is what every non-incumbent presidential candidate does, and it's why Trump won in 2016. He doesn't even need to be fully coherent about it. Obama just talked endlessly about "Hope," which Hillary famously and bitterly mocked in the 2008 primaries.

But thus far, Trump has been incapable of moving on. All he does is re-hash old fights.

Biden has been cleaning up Trump's mess. Trump has already proven to jack up debt, jack up deficit spending, destroy relationships with our allies while cozying up to our enemies. Do you not remember what the economy looked like in 2020-2021 when Trump left office? There is a reason gas hit $1,87 *that he boasted about last night* under his watch...the economy tanked/crashed whatever you want to call it, and they were literally GIVING gas away.[/quote]
