WTF is your problem?  NP but this is an overly aggressive post.  The student and family would have had to figure this out, but your reaction to this student literally working to avoid taking on debt is over the top.  Being an RA is a great option, had the student not gotten the job they would have done some combination of work, parent support and/or loans.  [/quote]
