LOL.   Yep.  That's true!   DH and I both went to schools with really pretty campuses with inviting surroundings.. green, lakes, etc.    Neither one of us could get past the College Park thing. [/quote]

There’s this thing called college recruiting and companies (and the government) send their reps to target schools all over the country. UMD does not have.a monopoly on MD/DC/VA internships. [/quote]
pretty hard to get an internship during the school year in DC when you are over a hundred miles away.  Did you know that there are internships that can occur during the school year, rather than just the summer. [b] I did one of those, and it turned into a job right after school[/b]. [/quote] And so do… wait for it….summer internships.  Most schools in the top 30 are frequented by every top company including the federal government. These events happen throughout the year and the employers come to them.  [/quote]
