OP—how old are you?
My question too!! Totally different if you answer 32 vs 45
This is total BS. Calorie deficit works the same at any age. And 32 vs 45 really does not make a material difference.
Nonsense, PP.
Well, I am 42 and did not notice any difference in my ability to lose fat. You eat in calorie deficit, you don't sit all day, you lift weights and you will lose. I don't expect three more years to change anything about that.
I'm 49. I thought like you at 42, too.
And what are you going to say to the PP who lost 100lbs between 52-54? Age by itself has nothing to do with your ability to lose fat. Laws of thermodynamics still apply at older age.
It's totally wrong to say age has nothing to do with your ability to lose fat. It's well-established that people's metabolisms slow as they age and that the hormonal changes associated with menopause make it more difficult to lose fat. No one is saying it's impossible, obviously, but it is absolutely harder than it is when you're younger. https://www.wsj.com/articles/weight-loss-women-menopause-midlife-9de0a8c0
