I don’t think that’s what people are talking about.  Wearing a mask when sick is different than wearing every day as a precautionary measure (and I’m sure sone of the would argue anyone with symptoms should be staying home).[/quote]

The days of staying home for any symptom are gone for most reasonable people.

For a toddler wearing a mask with a runny nose is absolutely gross and disgusting and IMO developmentally inappropriate. Most 2 yo's can't even blow their noses.[/quote]

This is why those kids should be staying home or parents called to pick up their kids.  Its not fair to spread it to other because you are too selfish to care for your sick kid.[/quote]

If I kept my kid home for every runny nose she would be home 70% of the year, even with a seasoned immune system and good hand-washing.
