If you search for semaglutide, you can find all of my posts. I was in the study for Wegovy before it came out. So i too the highest dose of Wegovy, which was studied and released for weight loss. Not Ozempic. I have posted alot about how it worked for me. "To me" I actually do consider it a appetite suppressant, you still want, you just physically can't. Or at least that's where I am 5 years later. I have lost over 150lbs. I am back in a clinical trial for maintenance dosing. The nausea is not what causes you to lose weight, it's the feeling of being full. But your brain can and will override that sometimes. I also take Topirinate 50mg to help with that. Some people take wellburtrin.
Super interesting! Have you been ina. Maintenance dose all this time?
I was off for a while when the initial study ended. Definitely gained some weight back, but that's because I really didn't understand the process and they just cut you off. But then I got on Rybelsus (incorrect spelling). Then on Wegovy when it was released for weight loss. Then off again for a while. Now back on it (I think-clinical trial I could be getting the medication or placebo, but I am certain I'm getting the medication) and I'm maintaining. Actually I've lost more weight than I want too. I have a lot of extra skin. After this trial is complete, I will be getting a full body make over. The extra skin is....just terrible.
Good luck with the full body makeover. Will be touch, but I bet you will look and feel incredible after you are healed. What did you think of Rybelsus? I’m currently in ozempic, but the doctor mentioned switching me to rybelsus due to cost. I currently don’t have any stomach upset in ozempic, so I’m Leary of rybelsus.
NP. I've been on Rybelsus 3 mg for a month and lost 10 lb. I haven't had any stomach issues at all.
