Tim married Faith and adopted the baby at birth. Tim is an absolute nightmare of a guy. When Audrey was born was pretty much the last long stretch of decency he’s had. He is a belligerent a-hole and Faith stays because while it’s “common knowledge” that Alan is G’s Dad, the agreement was that Faith wouldn’t divorce Tim if he agreed to adopt her and raise her as his own. When Audrey is 18, they are divorcing.

+1 this makes zeros sense. Why tf would Tim agree to adopt someone else’s child? And accept that his wife was with another man? And why would Faith want to stay with a “belligerent a-hole” and let said a-hole raise her child with another man?[/quote]
