To be clear, I am looking forward to the day when Marion Barry passes away, not Muriel Bowser or Michael Brown. I will feel sad about it the way I would feel about the death of an old drunk uncle of whom I was once rather fond but it will give me hope for the possibility of new leadership that may arise in the absence of Barry, who should have retired long ago.
