The reason to discuss this is because sexual orientation is not a “choice” but a biological attribute. Too many gay people like me have committed suicide before adulthood because society told them that being gay wasn’t an option.[/quote] I know a guy who committed suicide at 27 because he was convinced he was trans and had surgery before 18. He then realized at 21 he was actually a gay man but - surgery was done. Couldn’t live with himself.[/quote]
