I don't see much evidence the Rs are fielding SB candidates in at least half the magisterial districts.  And some of these Rs and Is?  Meren may be a flake but she'll demolish Jackson in the Hunter Mill race, assuming she gets endorsed again.  Plus, if Dranesville even has a Republican candidate, it's a closely held secret. Fairfax GOP will likely endorse Paul Bartkowski in Dranesville.  He will be a strong choice for those looking for balance on a school board with a super-majority of Democrats for the past 8+ years.[/quote]

I don’t know much about him but do know he recently had kids at Haycock and Longfellow (and may still). So he’s had skin in the game. It’s not like another Republican from the area, who pulled her kids out of FCPS and has spent the last two years constantly trying to ridicule School Board members. [/quote]
