Did the bully's parents even know of their son's actions? Honestly, there have been times I've taunted kids in school, and I had good parents. Even kids with good parents do bad things. All kids need to be taught what is right and wrong and all teens need maturing. Even if the bully's parents did know, the woman had no right to choke the child. I'm surprised at some of these comments. If you really found out your child was bullying another child, would you seriously choke your child to out of anger and in an attempt to try and change their bullying ways? Would you seriously think it's OK for a stranger to choke your child to change their bullying ways? It's one thing to think harmful thoughts, but to act out on them? Do you people really think it's OK that she choked the child "just to teach a lesson" without real intent to harm? Are varying degrees of choking another person allowed? I think this woman needs jail time. Hopefully, she was being sincere on the show when she admitted she lost her temper. Either way, it's a smart move on her part because the charges against her have to be serious, and she needs all the support she can get now.
I can't speak for others but no, I don't think it's "okay" that she choked this kid. However, the people losing their ever-living mind over it, as if mom is this evil person, well, I hope your daughters are never bullied in that way. Mom admitted she lost her temper. This is NOT the same thing as being a violent criminal out there stalking people in order to harm them. This was a reaction, not just an action. She will not and should not get a huge penalty for this. It should sting, but she shouldn't have her life in shambles over this. It's NOT the same as beating up a little kid.
