But I do think things have to worsen unfortunately before we implement strategies to mitigate the violence.  I give it 3-5 more years for the above to happen.  Depending on how quickly we worsen, we may be delaying this scenario to 5-10 years.

I know - it's depressing and sad but for today, we should be ever grateful we aren't there yet and we can still enjoy being with our families outdoors and not yet worry that the worse will happen in public.  [/quote]

Republican Congressmen were shot at their softball practice in Virginia and that didn't change their minds about guns, so I don't know what will.
