The Blair tournament page archive goes back to 2015.  It's not clear which one was first, as TJ's tournament has been around since at least 2015.
The Blair tournament is free and has more tests, and no limit on students.

Based on reading this forum, I get the impression Blair has a rivalry with TJ, but TJ doesn't care about Blair.

TJ is a full magnet school.  Blair is a magnet program that only takes 100 students per grade and it sounds like 50 of those come from Takoma magnet so there's basically 50 slots for the rest of the county.[/quote]
