PP here. Our in-person appointment at the post office was Feb 9 and our checks were cashed Feb 13.
Status for DS was Approved this morning and is now showing Shipped and in transit from Arizona. Mine is still in process. Our travel date is March 29 and I'll contact my congressman the week prior to leaving if there's still no movement.[/quote]

You're lucky. I applied online for a renewal on Jan. 21 and payment was made immediately. Travel April 1. Still "in process." I did my kid's passport at the local post office and she got her's in less than 3 weeks. I'm at 8 weeks and counting now for mine and I'm starting to think about canceling my trip.[/quote]

I'm the PP and just wanted to provide an update for anyone else who's on this journey thru bureaucracy. I hit the 14-day-before-departure mark tomorrow and this morning when I checked the online system, my passport app has now been moved to the "printed" category! Since I did expedited service/shipping, I should get it before our trip. There is hope![/quote]
