Yes, as a mom of 3DC I gave considerable thought to how the names sound with oldest DC’s first and middle and considered how they sound together. So, DC’s sound nice together but I’d like to think that they aren’t overly-matchy and are individually distinctive similar to: Miranda, Alexander and Elise. DH has a matchy name w/ his only sibling, a brother similar to David and Daniel. I do t like what I call all-over-the place sibling names, either; makes me think that the parents ran out of names. We know a family with Renee, Cecilia and Audrey. Renee stands out.
We also have three and had the same considerations. Plus, our taste in names didn’t change that much over the 4.5 years from kid one to kid three. Their last name (and DH’s) is long and German, so we had to keep the names relatively simple. I knew a family of three girls all with very traditionally feminine names (Cecilia, etc.) and all had similar nicknames: Cici, Gigi, and Mimi. Nope!
