AET Honors Geometry is an alternative to Geometry for highly motivated mathematics students. The greater depth, breadth and rigor of the course is intended to prepare students for success in advanced mathematics courses. I don't know why they call it AP, as there is not AP exam for 'Integrated Math 1'.
Currently no one takes geometry at AET/AOS.  They all take Integrated Math 1, and you have the same group of kids in every class.
Are they now going to pull out some kids from each group to take geometry classes?
And then what will they take the next year?
Given how much time they put in, the geometry class could easily do a lot of what is in integrated math 1, but they will still be behind the 2nd year.
