Nobody is going to be refused, the workers will opt out in advance.

It will protect Christian government workers who do not want to sign marriage licenses for same sex couples.

It will equally protect racist government workers who do not want to sign marriage license for interracial couples.  Even if I agreed the first group needs protection, the idea of passing a law to protect the second group is disgusting. [/quote]

How can you be so certain? How does it protect Christian government workers and why do they need protection? They need protection to impose their sect’s religious doctrine on others through the use of the state?[b] Is there test administrated by the state to determine if these workers meet the definition of being a Christian- attend church, pass a test administer by the state, live by all the tenants of the Christianity, etc?
