[/quote] It's people who realize that there are a large swath of schools that are roughly equivalent and that 40k+ a year is a lot of money. I'd let my kid turn down UVA for a tippy top school, but if my kid got into both and wanted to go to Cal or Michigan they'd have to really explain why that experience is worth 150k. I'm sure there are families with enough money that 150k is nothing, but to us that is a huge sum of money [/quote] +1[/quote]
