MCPS lowered the requirement, we didn't have to do anything. When DC enrolled back to MCPS it was put in his file Counselors can easily opt out kids who have special needs etc... It's and easy form to fill out they do it all the time.[/quote] There are specific rules for kids who transfer into MCPS. It's likely your child wasn't given any special arrangement, just that MCPS followed the standard rule. I don't know if counselors can opt kids out who have special needs, but the last I checked procrastination and laziness aren't special needs. [/quote]
