Republican with a tenuous grasp of geography:  The US-Mexican border is 2,000 miles long. It's like driving from DC to the New Mexico/Arizona border.

The point is, Democrats act like it’s not even an issue in the first place and they don’t want to do anything to dissuade them from coming illegally. Yes it’s a 2000 mile border but the USA is the world’s preeminent superpower. We are not unable, we are unwilling. The best way to stop them is to remove the incentive by not tolerating illegal immigration and punishing anyone here who economically aids and abets illegals. Make it economically untenable to employ illegal immigrants and the incentive to migrate here will go away. Easier said than done of course, but not impossible. There are political agendas in the way though.[/quote]

:lol:  Hmmm...  :lol:   like the hospitality industry, and the hotel/tourism industry, and the construction industry?  Get real. Republicans are 'pro' anything that makes money.  Just look at the firearms industry (but don't worry about mass shootings -- they're a figment of your imagination.)
