It is a long season and a huge time commitment for a volunteer. Almost all the coaches we have dealt with over several years have seemed like decent people trying their best.

If you didn't like your child's coach, don't play for him next year.
Or volunteer to coach yourself.

the 8th grade Mclean team is stacked.  Most of the kids I know on that team live in Mclean or Falls Church so they may all be in eligible zip codes. The 7th grade Mclean team is good, but they aren't dominating the league, and the 7th grade D1 Gainesville team is a powerhouse only because of the very athletic kid that wears goggles.  I assume he is the one that did not get selected for All Stars.  if that is the case and he were my son, we definitely would not play with that team anymore.[/quote]

If you live in Gainesville and want to play in the FCYBL program, you don't have any other choices. You aren't allowed to play across-county.[/quote]
