Stop it already with this.  Fault the administration and people involved but you are being ridiculous.  This is largest public university in Pennsylvania - it is not going away.  What is your objective and why?  Do you think tens of thousands of current students and hundreds of thousands of past students should be blamed for something that they had no part in?  Do you think a large public university should be burnt to the ground?

How many contemptible things have institutions you have been involved with done and probably continue to do?  Make some positive change but we are not going to be able to pass everything through a purity test and frankly seems like you are more finding an excuse to be mean.[/quote]

He will apply to those places too. But he will go where he can get the best education with the least debt. It may be penn state. It probably won’t be podunk college in the middle of nowhere.

Exactly. We live in Pennsylvania and can only afford Penn state or Pitt. My kid has to go where they get in. What do you want them to do, burn down the entire institution and rename it? What good does that do? Pennsylvania is struggling enough. We can’t afford to do that. [/quote]

Penn state is a top-ranked R1 university. My kid has already taken linear algebra in high school. He needs to go somewhere with top math and science options. West Chester does not have those opportunities. The choices are Pitt, Penn State and Temple. If you burn down Penn State, there are not enough seats at the other universities. It’s not top-ranked; it’s in the 50-60 range.
