Ok here you go. I’ll quote the response so that system doesn’t hide it. What I was saying was the bolded isn’t true because the kids I know getting into Chicago from these elite private schools would never get in if they were at public school. Stats are not that strong. [/quote]

+1 Chicago trying to get that endowment up and build strong relations with private schools, even if it means accepting kids who might not have gotten into ivy/Stanford/Duke. Georgetown has been doing the same for years[/quote]
